The Charity Mentoring Network (CMN) was started by Martin Baker, as a cost effective way to share knowledge and expertise across the sector and upskill staff and volunteers. Martin is already well known as the founder and CEO of the Charity Learning Consortium, a group of 400 third sector organisations collaborating to make eLearning affordable and effective.
His 20 years of experience establishing and growing a third sector membership organisation means that he brings a valuable set of skills to CMN. Starting the Consortium took great tenacity – making it happen took creativity and drive. He brings his passion for making working life better for everyone to the Charity Mentoring Network.
